Rental Rates
Rental Rates Are in Euros. We accept payment in Euros or UK Pounds* only.
Rates may occasionally be amended in response to market conditions, extreme exchange rate movements or our occupancy levels but the rate applicable to your booking will remain that contracted at the time of your booking, whether lower or higher. The only way you can be sure to get the dates you want at the rate you see here is to book early so your booking is confirmed. We do not have "last minute deals" and will only modify rates if necessary.
Rental Period You may arrive and depart on any day of the week but our minimum rental period is seven consecutive nights and then ten nights or more. if you would like to book eight or nine nights please contact us and, depending on the days of arrival and departure, and availability we will try to accommodate your requirements. Our rates include bed linen, towels and utilities; the property is fully equipped and you need bring nothing with you.
Occupancy The property is intended to accommodate a maximum of six guests, which may be a mix of persons aged 18 and over (adults) and 17 or younger (minors). The rates quoted are for up to four adults and two minors (or e.g. two adults and up to four minors). For parties outside these parameters please see the note below.
Rental rates are for the entire property.

NOTES
La Goupillère is also suitable for shorter stays and, depending on the make-up of your party, our rates are very competitive with and usually much cheaper than hotels or B&B anywhere in the area. You may of course stay for as short a period as you like but our minimum price is seven nights rental and we feel that four or five nights is the minimum that makes economic sense... but you get so much more!
There is a small Tourist Tax (Taxe de Séjour) payable by all visitors aged 18 or over who stay in accommodation (hotels, gîtes, B&B, campsites, etc.) For La Goupillère, this is currently €1,00 per adult per night and is remitted by us to The Communauté de Communes.
For parties of more than four adults there is an additional charge of €10 per night per adult. Guests aged under 18 at the date of arrival are included in the basic rates (we reserve the right to see proof of age). A baby sleeping in a cot will not be considered a "guest" for these purposes. Conditions apply in respect of your own guests staying, should you have any, so before you book please satisfy yourself that our terms of business are suitable for the manner in which you intend to occupy the property.
* If you are unable to pay in Euros you may pay in UK Pounds into our UK bank account. Funds will be converted and transferred to our EU bank account on the day your payment is received in Pounds using Wise low-cost money transfer for each stage of your payment. You will be notified of and given proof of the exact Euro value of your UK payment and any significant discrepancy in the € value received by us, paid to us (or we to you if appropriate), in cash when settling the Taxe de séjour charge.
